Chair of Trustees awarded Oak Award
Chair of the Trustees, Iain has been awarded a 2023 Oak Award by Nottinghamshire Scouts.
The Newark District Commissioner, Richard Dearlove commented "Iain has gone well beyond what is expected of the Chair of a Group to rebuild the Group post Covid and in challenging conditions has rebuilt the membership to re-establish the Group at the heart of the Collingham community".
Iain commented, "This is an amazing achievement and is recognition that Collingham Scouts has a bright future. The Team in the Group have had a difficult year since our former GSL retired and have made great strides towards making the Group a local Scouting success story".
