Collingham Scouts head to South Korea Jamboree
Two of our amazing Explorer Scouts attended the 2023 Scouts World Jamboree in South Korea.
Despite the challenging conditions experienced at the event which was cut short by the intense climatic conditions, the Scouts had an amazing time and were supported by both UK Scouts and Nottinghamshire Scouts during their trip to ensure they experienced South Korean culture.
Following the evacuation from the camp, they were housed in hotels in Seoul and experiences and visits were donated by local businesses, charities and organisations to make sure the Scouts got see the amazing culture and visited the TMZ and spiritual venues along with theme parks and saw the intense city culture of one of the great capitals of the world.
Both of our Scouts, even in adversity enjoyed the experience.
